Gift

Inspired by Lewis Hyde's philosophical thoughts as expressed in his 1983 book The Gift: Creativity and the Artist in the Modern World, filmmaker Robin McKenna wrote, directed and produced this feature-length documentary. It takes us to northern British Columbia, New Zealand, the Nevada desert and Rome, where various artists offer their creations in a gesture of openness to others and the world.
